Job Overview:
The Maintenance department manages various procedures involving ongoing cleaning, construction, electrical wiring, repair/inspection of building machinery, and implementation of security measures within the corporate, store, and warehouse locations.
Under general supervision, the Carpenter constructs and maintains structural woodwork. Builds, repairs, and installs store shelves, display stands, desktops for cubicle stations and printer stands. The Carpenter also maintains facilities to remain in good operating condition.
Essential Responsibilities:
Constructs various wood based projects in the warehouse, store, and corporate locations
Items include the Building and Repairing of:
oStore shelves
oStore displays
oPrinter stands
oDesktops for cubicle stations
Additional Responsibilities:
As assigned by Manager
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires the ability to use all carpentry tools including power saw, planer, router, sander, and joiner
Ability to follow directions
Understanding of project priorities
Ability to follow safety standards
Must be able to communicate effectively
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
Minimum 0-1 years of experience acquired through a formal carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
