Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the data analytics and review of all domestic and international supply chain shipping activity, where daily and weekly reporting is critical to this role.
Team Member is responsible for domestic and international shipment data metrics and analytics. Team member needs to have a strong analytic background and a business acumen in supply chain operations. Core responsibilities include the review & maintenance of database information & reporting. The goal is to improve shipment habits whereby consistently reviewing shipment activity globally. Duties include scheduling & executing reports on time, timely review of habits, trends and activity. Information needs to be communicated daily. Team member will gain exposure to the global supply chain. Good communication verbal and written to internal parties on opportunities and concerns in the business, ability to make recommendations for improvement based upon the data, optimization and cost reductions. Problem solving attitude as it relates to the business. Reporting to include shipping activity and delivery status. Overall scope includes delivery timing with all carriers and types of shipments, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Track and publish KPI's, provide predictive analysis on the business activity. Team Member will review data base metrics, provide dashboarding data based upon the information collected for visibility into the business. Team member will address all shipment milestones and provide internal and external communication on the status daily. Update daily logistics data activity to ensure consistent and accurate monthly reporting. Review, maintain and provide reporting on store shipping schedule files. Provide holiday store shipping files, upload to ERP for the Distribution pick to take place. Validate special pick daily to ensure all stores pick as designated. Ability to multi-task and prioritize initiatives.
Complete other tasks as assigned by manager for other logistics related activity.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
